Soundtrack4Life: the B-Sides

What on Earth Are You Listening To? (4th May 2010)

Dancing the Night Away - The Motors (from 1978 album 'Motors 1')

Do Anything You Wanna Do - Eddie & the Hot Rods 9from the 1977 album 'Life on the Line')

Roam - The B-52's (Brillant single)

The Prettiest Eyes - The Beautiful South (they always wrote fantastic songs)

Helpless - Sugar (from the album 'Copper Blue, still sounds so brilliant)

Again and Again - Bob Mould (from the brilliant 'District Line' album)

Whlist thinking about how good Sugar were, the man himself, Bob Mould has released a bunch of great solo albums down through the years.

Wasted - Def Leppard (from the superb 'On Through the Night' album)

A little bit different but I just loved these guys way back before they became one of the biggest bands on the planet. I got to work with them when this album came out back in late 1979 and early 1980.

Stay Lucky - The Gaslight Anthem (from the new album 'American Slang')

At the Dark End of the Street - James Carr

One of the best soul voices on the planet, even edges out Otis Redding, he really was that good!

Roll With It - Steve Winwood
Love him or hate him, no one can deny that Winwood is one of the best white boys to have soul!
