Miranda Lambert first came to light in 2003 when she came third in the 'Nashville Star, after the show she signed to Epic Records and released a fantastic major label debut with 'Kerosene'(she had released an independant album back in 2001).

Her second, 'Crazy ex-Girlfriend' brought a stack of hits and awards and included the brilliant 'Famous in a Small Town' and 'Gunpowder and Lead'.
